E-Quip Engineering Ltd (E-Quip) is a Greymouth Engineering company, based at 42 Jacks Road, South Beach, Greymouth.
E-Quip employs 26 staff; of which 14 are qualified tradesmen, the remainder are apprentices and skilled workers, including a management team of 4, who have 130-years combined experience in heavy engineering and construction. The management team are all hands on, working daily in the business.
The company undertakes general and specialist engineering, manufacturing, structural fabrication and project work for a wide base of clients, including those involved in mining, construction, farming, forestry and road transport sectors. E-Quip also has a wide customer base of general contractors and miscellaneous customers.
E-Quip Engineering specialise in heavy plant engineering, structural steelwork fabrication and erection, full machine shop services, mining plant manufacture and on-site mine maintenance. We manufacture excavator attachments and components including “E-Quip” buckets, root rakes, hardened steel bushes and pins, excavator ROPS frames and E-Quip gold recovery screens.
E-Quip has current welding procedures and certified welders to meet specified requirements. Staff are qualified in, working at heights, confined spaces, first aid and the use of elevated work platforms (EWP).
We have full repair and maintenance facilities, and repair and rebuild a wide range of machinery from excavators, dozers, trucks, trailers and mining plant. We undertake portable line boring and also have a full hydraulic ram servicing facility, from seal replacement to barrel and spear replacement. We provide retail store sales and have a comprehensive range of steel products.
